Havid Nagan has been founded with one underlying principle - reintroduce the concept of fine watchmaking to the dynamic coterie that is the modern generation. Our designs draw inspiration from 18th & 19th century design motifs; delving deep into ancient watchmaking practices and techniques used by artisans of the time. Each watch produced is the design culmination of traditional watchmaking and modern horological technologies. Havid Nagan timepieces are designed and created for those with particular appreciation of fine, unique watchmaking.

Crafted in the heart of swiss watchmaking
Havid Nagan timepieces are produced, tested, and serviced in the heart of Swiss watchmaking - La Chaux-de-Fonds. Thus, the heart, spirit, and expertise of traditional watchmaking craftsmanship is found in each timepiece. A ‘saluer’ to the artisans and craftsmen that have fundamentally secured our industry for centuries. While we do work with different manufacturers that are specialized in particular fields, our watches are always created in Switzerland.
While our history is just beginning, it is tethered, at inception, to the heritage of the city recognized for its watchmaking globally by UNESCO. Nestled in between the Jura Mountains, built and developed on a grid, decorated with stucco architecture, there is no geographical substitute for Havid Nagan watches to be assembled in.
Our legacy is coupled with that of the small Swiss municipality and in mutual benefit. The region’s community is what makes it what it is; an analog for one of Havid Nagan’s missions - nurture a community of passionate collectors linked by one common thread.

Aren Bazerkanian did not attend design school or have a formal education in watchmaking. He has been entirely driven by his obsessive passion for the craft. Having serendipitously found himself working alongside FP Journe, he absorbed not only techniques and idealism in fine watchmaking, but also a philosophy - that every component, technical or aesthetic, must carry meaning and purpose. This initial exposure to fine watchmaking and the audacity to express his own creative vision, led him to found Havid Nagan in April 2022.
Born in Los Angeles but quick to establish relationships with the greatest component manufacturers in Switzerland. A crossroad from which he bridges two worlds — the discipline of Jura artisanship and the daring of a new generation.
Under his creative direction, Havid Nagan timepieces look to augment their objective metric of time-telling with that of Aren’s unique designs and implementations. His vision is clear – produce watches that embody an ideal of both practicality and artisanship.
