Growing the network (effects).

Since even before the launch of Havid Nagan, I’ve dreamt of working with my muses. The venerable individuals who inspired me to have the nerve of launching my own watch company, watchmakers, designers, businessmen, and the like that have built incredibly significant organizations, however they may vary, in the industry that binds us all. These are all people that make up the reality to which I am driven towards.

Three or four months ago, my trusted friend and retail partner, Hamdan of Perpetuel Gallery, called and stated he’d spoken to Daniella Dufour and she’d asked if any of the brands he partners with would be interested in donating a unique piece for their charitable foundation. After a brief conversation with Hamdan, I exuberantly obliged. Who wouldn’t want to contribute a piece of their creations to a foundation that helps those in need while also being associated with the most legendary name in present-term watchmaking?! The result of the collaboration was a unique piece Ivory tone-on-tone variant of the Classic One.

The auction is being held by Phillips as part of their Geneva Watch Auction XXI, specifically through the Dufour Foundation where unique pieces from different brands will be presented from May 10th-11th, 2025. In other news, I was invited to speak to a group of Miami’s finest collectors through the Miami Watch Club at Fiola in Coconute Grove. The night centered around a conversation moderated by Carlos Jimenez and myself discussing the history of Havid Nagan, my background and journey, and where I wish to take the brand moving forward. Collectors were able to view the Classic One in all of it’s variations and archival pieces like the HN00 and HN01. Connecting with collectors on the ground floor is the most exciting part of what I do as I get to learn about their collecting journeys, understand their view of the industry, and further do my part in building the community they are in search of. The ball is already rolling for the next similar event which will likely take place in Atlanta. More details to come soon!
