PARADOX
HAVID NAGAN timepieces are designed to merge the traditional watchmaking designs and practices of the 18th & 19th century with the technological advances in modern horology. Each model in the collection has been given countless hours of thought and research so as to pay homage to the masters of watchmaking history, whilst presenting an entirely new, contemporary aesthetic.
Thus, each HAVID NAGAN timepiece is in and of itself a paradox on your wrist.
Illustrated above, the cases for Havid Nagan timepieces are crafted in a curved tri-partite fashion. Seventeen individual components join cohesively to provide a maximal ergonomic fit. Dense, cold, angular lines present a geometric frame for the warm, elegant dials to be highlighted - a paradox in and of itself.
Dials, dials, and dials
In resplendent manner, the dials for HN-00-01 are an homage to the artisans and watchmakers of the 18th and 19th century. The traditional guilloche work is elaborated upon with modern manufacturing capabilities - the dials are treated to several galvanic chemical baths and applied with a lacquer, providing the modern background for the polished SuperLuminova indices and logo. Once again, paradoxically marrying the traditional with the modern.
